Showcase Your Talents

University Theatre: BVU’s theatre program presents three mainstage productions each year within a four-year cycle designed to expose students to a wide range of dramatic literature and performing and artistic opportunities. You’ll participate in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival by entering productions and attending the regional festival.

New Visions Series: Showcase your student-directed and student-written productions in BVU’s New Visions Series.

Student Showcases: Demonstrate your acting and directing skills each semester through public performance showcases. Present monologues and scenes from your fundamentals of acting or advanced acting classes. Direct and present your one-act play for fundamentals of directing or advanced directing credit.

Play Readings: When you’re interested in writing your own material, BVU Theatre organizes play readings and developmental workshops to help you fine-tune your work for the stage.
