Aaron Eastwood

  • Assistant Professor of Music Production

Aaron Eastwood is an educator, composer, music technologist, and audio production specialist with particular interest in creating and implementing sound and music for video games and other digital media. He joined the faculty at Buena Vista University in 2021.

Originally from Southern California, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, TV, and Film. In 2018, he earned a Master of Music in Music Technology (Composition Concentration) from University of Valley Forge. He also holds operator-level instructor certifications in Pro Tools | Music and Pro Tools | Post Production, and user-level instructor certification in Pro Tools | Game Audio from Avid Technology.

Professor Eastwood began teaching in 2015 and has taught courses in music and music industry studies at Norco College in Southern California, and graduate courses in applied composition and research methods in music technology at University of Valley Forge.
