Strategic Public Relations Degree
Liberal Arts Bachelor’s Degree Program
Whether in business, politics, sports, or the arts, effective communication campaigns are the foundation of success. The strategic public relations major prepares students to enter this dynamic world of serving as co-creators of the public story rather than merely being architects of the organization’s agenda. Starting your freshman year, strategic public relations majors have access to hands-on experiences that will allow them to be innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial.

JORDYN DAGGS-OLSON, Class of 2021
Jordyn always dreamed of working for a sports team. She made that dream a reality as she completed an internship with the Minnesota Vikings. Thanks to a special partnership between the Vikings and BVU, Jordyn had the chance to go to all the team’s home games, where she worked with the press, welcomed media and photographers, networked, and recorded player interviews after the game. Jordyn was also chosen as one of only 10 interns for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Gold Jacket Relations Department during her senior year.
