Five Simple Steps to Becoming a Beaver
Step 1: Explore Your Future
Discover the academic program that's right for you. With more than 65 majors and programs, hands-on learning opportunities, and a welcoming campus community, BVU offers the experiences and support to help you achieve your goals.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Complete BVU's free online application or apply through the Common Application. After you apply, submit your official high school transcript and any college transcripts if you've earned college credit or are transferring. Our Admissions team is available to answer questions throughout the process.
Step 3: Explore Scholarships & Financial Aid
Complete the FAFSA to be considered for federal, state, and institutional financial aid. When submitting your FAFSA, use Buena Vista University's school code: 001847. Our Financial Aid team can help you understand scholarships, grants, loans, and payment options to make your BVU education affordable.
Step 4: Receive Your Admission Decision
Once we've received your application and supporting materials, our Admissions team will review your application and notify you of your admission decision. We'll also help you understand your next steps and answer any questions along the way.
Step 5: Confirm Your Enrollment
Ready to become a Beaver? Submit your enrollment deposit to reserve your place in the incoming class. From there, we'll help you register for Orientation, connect with your academic advisor, and prepare for your first semester on campus.
