All offers of employment, oral and written, are contingent upon the university’s verification of credentials and completion of a background check and a consumer credit check for applicable positions.

E-Verify Program
BVU participates in the federal government’s E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of all newly hired employees through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security. For new hires, the E-Verify process is completed in conjunction with the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification on or before the first day of work. Tax & Benefits Information
From 1095-C Delivery
At the request of an employee, Buena Vita University will provide a printed copy of the 1095-C form to the employee. The 1095-C form will no longer be mailed to employees unless requested through humanresources@bvu.edu. All employees who have signed up for electronic consent have access to the tax form in UKG Ready.
Machine-Readable Files (MRFs)
