School of Liberal Arts
Through your classes you will discover and deepen your talents, explore new and invigorating ideas, encounter new people and places, create beauty in the world and gain the confidence and knowledge to seize all of the opportunities, and tackle the challenges, of the 21st century.
The School of Liberal Arts includes courses in the Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences–disciplines which form a firm foundation upon which all majors are built. Classes prepare you to become a citizen of the world and help shape the person you want to be; tomorrow, next year, and ten years from now. Classes in the Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences develop an understanding of the human experience at its best and its worst.
More than a dozen disciplines in the School of Liberal Arts—including Music, English, Spanish, and Psychology—form the joyful foundation for a life well-lived. Students are knowledgeable, compassionate, thoughtful, and decisive leaders who can create the kind of world in which we all wish to live.
