Returning Students

Special COVID-19 message:  If you are a student that withdrew at any point during the spring semester of 2020 or fall semester of 2020, and your withdrawal was due to issues related to COVID-19, please notify us within 30 days of your withdrawal.  When you notify us, please provide specifics of the reason for your withdrawal and we will follow up.

 

Buena Vista University provides financial assistance to promising and qualified students through scholarships, grants, loans, and work opportunities. The federal government, the State of Iowa, private donors, and BVU fund these opportunities.

To qualify for any of the assistance listed on this website, you do need to be accepted for admission to BVU. Apply for admission.

FAFSA

FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  BVU's School Code is 001847.

FSA ID

Students who wish to access federal student aid websites should create login identification information. The FSA ID is the credential with which students, parents, and borrowers authenticate their identity to access their federal student aid information online and to electronically sign Federal Student Aid documents.
