While many institutions limit practical onsite opportunities, BVU students get involved right away. All students engage beyond the classroom, building important skills. Perform research in the state-of-the-art Estelle Siebens Science Center, or put theory into practice at our Agricultural Experiment Station, located just minutes from campus. Our facilities enable you to get hands-on with agriculture!

Experiences Beyond the Classroom

BVU agricultural programs offer travel opportunities and support, with specific value-added funds to cover travel. A recent trip to Argentina only cost students $200 each!

With faculty that come from industry, we don’t just connect you with recruiters, we connect you with the movers and shakers in executive management roles, entrepreneurial endeavors, innovators.

Work one-on-one with faculty on research in many agricultural fields... or develop your own project. Up to $2,000 in support funding is available per student... each year!

Have a business idea? We can help make it a reality. The Lamberti Center for Rural Entrepreneurship offers support in developing your idea... and possibly providing support funding!
