- End of Year Student Payroll
Monday, May 2: Cutoff for student worker payroll for the dates 4/18-5/1. Please review and approve all timecards in Kronos Workforce Ready by Noon, all paper timecards can be brought to HR
Thursday, May 5: Last day for work-study students to work. After your student worker's last shift of the week, please review, submit, and approve their timecard. Any hours worked after May 5 will be charged to department budgets

- National Walking Day Contest
Don't forget to submit your steps from yesterday, April 6, by Noon today to be entered into the drawing for a Hydroflask!

- Education for Service Nominees
Congratulations to the following individuals on being nominated for the 2022 Education for Service Award: Joan Curbow, Kristen Fox, Tim Gallagher, Tanya Landgraf, Donna Musel, Janet Reinert, Heidi Roland, and Lorie Stanton. The recipient of the 2022 Education for Service Award will be announced at the annual Employee Recognition Celebration on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

- Education For Service Nominations
Buena Vista University faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate staff employees for the 2022 Education for Service Award. To receive this outstanding, annual service award, an individual must serve as an excellent service role model for all BVU employees:
- Helpful, friendly, caring person and strong role model for students, staff, and faculty;
- Strong leadership qualities;
- Shown significant improvements in the quality of service, work or a process;
- Goes above and beyond with service and assistance to students;
- Helps to establish more efficient processes for students and the University;
- Job performance above and beyond expectations;
The recipient will be announced during the Employee Recognition Celebration and will receive a plaque and stipend to be used for his/her professional development.

- Spouse/Domestic Partner and Child ID Card Request Form
A DocuSign form is now available to request ID cards for employees' spouses/domestic partners or children to have access to the Rec Center. The current fee is $30 per card and can be paid via payroll deduction or at the Business Office. The Request Form can be found on Beavernet under Employee Services.
The Thursday, March 17th BVU News inadvertently stated this card would give access to the Library but this is incorrect. The Library provides employees’ spouses/domestic partners or families a library card for free. Contact the Library to get a card.
- March Madness
March Madness got underway at BVU this week! Twenty employees competed against each other in a free-throw shooting contest. Thom Bonagura was the winner. Thank you to everyone that participated!
