Application Steps

1. Apply to Buena Vista University and fill out our BVU partner/employer section on the application.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required for undergraduate students and preferred (but not required) for graduate students.
3. Request your human resources department to submit you or your spouse/domestic partner/parent official confirmation of employment at one of our partner organizations.
   1. Employment verification must include employee’s name, employee’s work status (full-time or part-time), name of student seeking admission to BVU, and relationship of student to employee.
   2. If you are a current BVU student, skip steps 1 and 2 and begin your request for employment verification.
   3. Submit to StrategicPartnerships@bvu.edu.

3. If you are a new applicant or a current BVU student, request your human resources department to submit your official verification of employment. UPH employees can contact AskHR by submitting a case within Lawson - Subject: BVU Partnership Employment Verification. AskHR will then send employment verification on behalf of the employee.
