Students Receive an Inside Look at Costa Rican Culture

Throughout the three-week trip, the group of students studied the Spanish language at a local language school in the mornings, and took in the country's historical sites during the afternoons and on weekends.

Buena Vista University students experienced an adventure of a lifetime while rafting the Pacuare River in Costa Rica. The group is part of the Costa Rica travel course, which is one of several destinations offered this Interim.

Throughout the three-week trip, the group of students studied the Spanish language at a local language school in the mornings, and took in the country’s historical sites during the afternoons and on weekends.The students stayed with local families during the course of the trip, enabling them to get an inside look at the Costa Rican culture.
