Rev. Sekou Visits BVU to Discuss Today's Social Challenges
Considered one of the foremost religious leaders of his generation, Rev. Sekou's discussions about civil rights and racial justice have gained him notoriety across the country.
Reverend Osagyefo Sekou, who is a noted activist, preacher, author, documentary filmmaker, and musician, visited Buena Vista University on Feb. 20. Founded in faith and philosophy, Rev. Sekou combines solid thinking, music, and faith as he navigates the challenges of our contemporary world.
The appearance was part of the University's Academic and Cultural Events Series (ACES).
