First Place for Concert Choir in Italy
The Buena Vista University Concert Choir earned first place honors at the Concorso Corale Internazionale Riva del Garda international choir competition. The group traveled to Italy over spring break to compete in the festival.
The Buena Vista University Concert Choir earned first place honors at the Concorso Corale Internazionale Riva del Garda international choir competition. The group traveled to Italy over spring break to compete in the festival.
The choir received first place in the mixed voices category and second place in the sacred voices category. The group was also selected to perform in the competition’s grand finale concert for mixed ensembles.
The Concert Choir is under the direction of Dr. Merrin Guice, assistant professor of music at BVU.
