BVU Students Sell Prom Dresses to Fight Domestic Abuse
The donation came from the proceeds of Student M.O.V.E.'s annual Glass Slipper Shop event, which gives the local community the opportunity to purchase new and gently used prom dresses and other formal dresses at a lower cost.
Buena Vista University student, Abigail Ross, presented a donation of nearly $500 to Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault (CAASA) in Storm Lake. The donation came from the proceeds of Student M.O.V.E.’s (Mobilizing Outreach & Volunteer Efforts) annual Glass Slipper Shop event, which gives the local community the opportunity to purchase new and gently used prom dresses and other formal dresses at a lower cost.
