BVU Student Wins Design Award

Tyson-Jay Domingo won first place for poster design at the regional conference of the National Association of Campus Activities. He had submitted a poster he designed for a BVU Student Activities Board event in February.

Tyson-Jay Domingo, a Buena Vista University sophomore digital media major from Pearl City, Hawaii, won first place for poster design at the regional conference of the National Association of Campus Activities held in St. Paul, Minn. April 4-7. Domingo, who was unable to attend the conference, had submitted a poster he had designed for a BVU Student Activities Board event in February in which comedian Adam Grabowski performed. The contest category was ‘multi-colored, unpaid student, graphic design.” Several SAB members attended the conference with Becka Neary-DeLaPorte, director of student activities and leadership development.
