BVU, Rosenboom align in Strategic Partnership

Through a Strategic Partnership with Buena Vista University, Rosenboom offers educational benefits to its employees and their eligible family members.

Buena Vista University (BVU) and Rosenboom have aligned as Strategic Partners to help strengthen their communities and beyond.

This partnership allows for employees of Rosenboom, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees, to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost per credit hour for students enrolled in BVU’s convenient online/hybrid undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program.

BVU professors and staff are also available for training programs, workshops, and more should officials with Rosenboom seek those services and expertise.

“We are excited about our partnership with Buena Vista University as it represents a win-win situation for not only our company but for our employees and their family members as well,” says Rosenboom Corporate Vice President Brian Rosenboom. “At Rosenboom, we highly value education and look forward to supporting our employees as they seek to further their education.”

“Anytime we can help people further their education, it is a benefit to everyone in the community.”

Founded in 1974, Rosenboom’s corporate headquarters are in Sheldon, with main manufacturing facilities in Spirit Lake and Bowling Green, Ohio. As manufacturers of customized hydraulic cylinders, Rosenboom services many industries including construction, refuse, agriculture, fire rescue, and transportation.

“We see our values aligned with the values of Buena Vista University, and are looking forward to our partnership,” Brian Rosenboom says. “Anytime we can help people further their education, it is a benefit to everyone in the community.”

“I really enjoyed my experience at BVU. As a “nontraditional” student, BVU made it easy to accommodate my family and work schedules to my hybrid class schedule,” says Rosenboom Iowa Director of Manufacturing Jeff Lalumendre, a BVU graduate. “My degree in organizational leadership has helped me advance my career while continuing to live in the Iowa Lakes area.”

“BVU staff and faculty are very easy to work with and passionate about what they do. I would recommend BVU to anyone interested in continuing their education,” Lalumendre continues.

“Buena Vista University’s motto, ‘Education for Service,’ is a driving force behind our programs, and we are excited to partner with an organization that holds similar values,” says BVU Director of Strategic Partnerships Laura Todd. “We are proud to partner with Rosenboom and offer educational benefits to its employees and their eligible family members, helping to transform communities.”
