BVU, phClean Join In Strategic Partnership

Through a collaboration with Buena Vista University, phClean offers educational benefits to its employees and their eligible family members.

Buena Vista University (BVU) and phClean have aligned as Strategic Partners, providing new opportunities to transform the communities both entities serve.

This partnership allows for employees of phClean, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees, to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost per credit hour for students enrolled in BVU’s convenient online undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program.

“We always want to make sure that our employees are given the tools they need to succeed both in their job and life. This partnership with Buena Vista University aligns perfectly with that mission,” said Shawn Wilson, phClean Sales and Marketing Manager. “By offering our employees and their families access to affordable, high-quality education, we’re not only supporting their personal and professional growth, but also investing in the long-term well-being of our team.”

phClean is a professional residential cleaning company serving Central Iowa with locations in Ames, Ankeny, West Des Moines, Waukee, and Des Moines. The company has over 100 employees across all its offices. phClean offers reliable, high-quality home cleaning that gives clients back time, peace of mind, and healthier spaces, all handled by local professionals they can trust.

“BVU means the world to me! I put myself through college, and I really wanted to become a teacher, said BVU alum, Jenn from phClean’s Ankeny office. “BVU's satellite school in Marshalltown allowed me to work full-time at a daycare during the day and attend classes at night. It was the only way I could pay for college. I will forever be a Beaver!”

“BVU is proud to partner with phClean to help expand access to education for their team and families,” said Laura Todd, Director of Strategic Partnerships at BVU. “phClean shares our belief that education creates stronger individuals, families, and communities. We’re excited to support their employees’ goals, whether that means starting college for the first time, returning to finish a degree, or pursuing graduate studies.”
