BVU, moveero Connect Through Strategic Partnership
Through a collaboration with Buena Vista University, moveero offers educational benefits to its employees and their eligible family members.

Buena Vista University (BVU) and moveero have entered a Strategic Partnership that provides new opportunities that mutually benefit both organizations as they strive to strengthen the communities they serve.
This partnership allows the employees of moveero, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees, to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost per credit hour while enrolled in BVU’s convenient online undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost of education for students enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus.
Since 1908, moveero has been designing, manufacturing, and supplying wheels and spindles for the off-highway market of agriculture, mining, and construction equipment. Headquartered in Armstrong, Iowa, this industry-leading company has 180 employees in Iowa with over 600 more in Europe. As the industry evolves, moveero remains focused on advancing technology and expanding its impact worldwide.
“Ten years after graduating with my associate’s degree in computer numerical control (CNC) machining and technology from Kirkwood Community College, I decided to go back to school. I was able to complete my degree from BVU in one and a half years by taking summer classes, and it was the best decision I could have made for my career,” says Mike Wodtke, a 2004 BVU graduate. “I am now the Regional Operations Director for moveero U.S. with manufacturing locations in Armstrong and Estherville, Iowa, and Wichita, Kansas. The technology management degree from BVU was the stepping stone I needed in my career.”
“Partnering with moveero enables BVU to broaden our impact far beyond Iowa. By offering flexible, career-focused education to moveero employees, we’re helping build a stronger, more skilled workforce in Iowa and across the globe,” says BVU Director of Strategic Partnerships Laura Todd. “This collaboration is a powerful example of how education can drive innovation and opportunity on a global scale.”
