BVU Education for Service 2025 Nominees Announced

Twenty-eighth recipient of BVU staff award to be honored at Employee Recognition Celebration.

Thirteen Buena Vista University staff members have been nominated for the 2025 Education for Service award; an honor presented annually to recognize an employee for their outstanding service to the University.

The individual, who serves as an excellent role model for all BVU employees, earns $2,500 in professional development funds, a crystal award, and a framed certificate, all of which are presented at the BVU Employee Recognition Celebration on May 7.

  • Gina Hartman, Assistant to the VP of Enrollment Management and Marketing
  • Erin Heuton, Assistant HR Director/Title IX Coordinator
  • Jenelle Martin, Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion
  • Donna Musel, Director of the Center for Academic Excellence
  • Laura Resnick, English Language Learner Writing Specialist
  • Emily Sangwin, Assistant Director of Teacher Education Programs
  • Scott Wunschel, Network and Security Architect
