BVU, Covenant Workplace Solutions Align Through Strategic Partnership
Through a collaboration with Buena Vista University, Covenant Workplace Solutions offers educational benefits to its employees and their eligible family members.
Buena Vista University (BVU) and Covenant Workplace Solutions have entered a Strategic Partnership that provides new opportunities which mutually benefit both organizations as they strive to strengthen the communities they serve.
This partnership allows for employees of Covenant Workplace Solutions, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees, to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost per credit hour while enrolled in BVU’s convenient online undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost of education for students enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus.
“Initially, one of our employees brought this Strategic Partnership up to us, so as her employer it felt good to see how we could say yes to something that was important to her and get things rolling,” says Covenant Workplace Solutions Owner and Head of Operations Zach Schmit. “It’s great that not only do we now have this partnership, but we have one of our employees taking advantage of it right off the bat, which seeds the ground for future employees as we continue to grow and expand.”

Based in Cedar Rapids, Covenant Workplace Solutions—a full-service mental health and wellness provider—was launched in 2020 as a division of Covenant Family Solutions to help organizations meet the need for workplace mental health services. Facing tremendous growth, Covenant Workplace Solutions became a stand-alone company in 2022. By offering comprehensive employee assistance program solutions, mental health workshops, and workplace wellness resources, the organization aims to assist companies across the country strengthen the lives of their employees and the families they go home to each day, resulting in an environment that allows organizations to grow, achieve their goals, and build a sustainable, thriving workplace culture.
