BVU, Albert City-Truesdale establish Strategic Partnership
A Strategic Partnership between Buena Vista University and the Albert City-Truesdale Community School District creates opportunities for ACT employees and their families to earn their degree.
Buena Vista University (BVU) and the Albert City-Truesdale Community School District have established a Strategic Partnership that will benefit its employees and their eligible family members.
This partnership allows for employees of the Albert City-Truesdale Community School District, as well as eligible family members of full-time employees, to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost per credit hour for students enrolled in BVU’s convenient online/hybrid undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program.
BVU professors and staff are also available for training programs, workshops, and more should officials with the Albert City-Truesdale School seek those services and expertise.
“A Strategic Partnership with Buena Vista University provides a win-win opportunity for our school,” says Albert City-Truesdale Community School District Superintendent Jeff Dicks, a BVU graduate. “By offering these discounts to our employees and their eligible family members, we are helping to support higher education throughout our communities.”
“I am excited for my coworkers at Albert City-Truesdale to have the opportunity to experience BVU to achieve their dreams.”
