BVU Accepting Applications for Cultural Leadership Conference

The Buena Vista University Office of Multicultural Engagement and its Multicultural Engagement Leadership Team are accepting applications for the 15th Annual Cultural Leadership Conference: "Illuminate the Vibrant Self Within."

The Buena Vista University Office of Multicultural Engagement and its Multicultural Engagement Leadership Team are accepting applications for BVU's 15th Annual Cultural Leadership Conference: "Illuminate the Vibrant Self Within."

The conference will be held on the BVU campus beginning Thursday, April 16, 2015, and continue through Sunday, April 19. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore student life within the campus community and gain valuable knowledge and experience through a variety of speakers and activities. The conference will also feature an interactive leadership workshop presented by Ryan Penneau from Take Back College, one of the nation's top resources for student success and leadership.

Area high school students are encouraged to apply. A minimum GPA of 2.5, completion of a 300-word essay and a recommendation letter are required to be considered for conference acceptance. Students who are invited to attend the conference are required to make a $20 deposit, which will be refunded upon their arrival on campus.
