Beavers Race Their Cardboard Boats
BVU's Office of Student Affairs and Outdoor Adventure Club hosted the fifth "Beavers' Annual Great Boat Float Challenge" on the shores of Storm Lake. Students put their cardboard boats to the test as they attempted to paddle their way to victory.
Buena Vista University's Office of Student Affairs and the Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) hosted the fifth "Beavers' Annual Great Boat Float Challenge" on the shores of Storm Lake. The contest allows students, faculty and staff the chance put their homemade cardboard boats to the test as they attempt to paddle their way to victory.
The "Pride of the Fleet" award was presented to BVU's Association for Computing Machinery student organization, for their cardboard representation of the iconic "Enterprise" from Star Trek.
