Alumni Association Names Seniors of the Year

The BVU National Alumni Association presented two students with "Senior of the Year" honors at the Student Recognition Dinner on April 25. The seniors selected were Beth Weber and Ian Grigsby.

The BVU National Alumni Association presented two students with "Senior of the Year" honors at the Student Recognition Dinner on April 25.

The seniors selected were Beth Weber, a biology major from Mapleton; and Ian Grigsby, a mathematics major from Omaha, Neb. Beth will be attending graduate school at Illinois State University this fall, pursuing a degree in biomathematics. Ian will attend graduate school at Baylor University, with an assistantship and full tuition scholarship to pursue a PhD in Mathematics.

Other finalists were Arik Ostler, a computer science major from Red Oak; and Stephanie Hayden, an accounting and sports management double major from Prairie City.

Each year, the Buena Vista University National Alumni Association honors two outstanding seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership characteristics and the ability to set personal and career goals.
