Take me to:
The Foundry is a start-up company and small business idea incubator designed to encourage entrepreneurship, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. This location serves as a central space where ideas are developed, tested, and nurtured. The Foundry provides space where new businesses launch, existing businesses partner with student teams to find business solutions, and social entrepreneurship will be encouraged to address societal challenges.
The Foundry is located in downtown Storm Lake, building community partnerships and promoting high-impact interaction between students, faculty, businesses, and their community.
Remote Office and Co-Working Space
The Foundry is a location for remote work for visiting professionals, local businesses, and students. It is also an ideal location for private meetings, seminars, and small conferences. By managing the space, students learn business concepts!
The Foundry is an ideal place for aspiring entrepreneurs to work on startup companies. Existing businesses and organizations can seek advice, mentoring and collaboration from an advisory board of faculty, attorneys, and experienced business professionals.
The Foundry gives students a creative space to generate a positive impact on their society! Students use the space to identify issues and work with organizations to think entrepreneurially about solutions for their communities and beyond.
