Dr. Kristy McClellan teaches rehabilitation health sciences, biomedical sciences, and biology. Her father, Prof. Gary Sterling, is a new instructor of management in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business.

BVU President Josh Merchant, Ph.D. has been appointed as a member of the NCAA Division III Nominating Committee.

The 2016 grad attends the University of Missouri and studies veterinary medicine. While at BVU, she took classes in anatomy, physiology, immunology, and more to prepare her for her future career.

More than 100 Special Olympics Iowa athletes participated in a variety of fun activities with BVU coaches, staff, faculty, and students.

Buena Vista University was awarded a research grant in the amount of $329,633 to study reading comprehension in middle schoolers.

The Westphal Top Graduate Student Paper Award was created by the Iowa Communication Association in honor of education enthusiast Frank George Westphal and seeks to recognize excellent scholarship in Iowa the graduate programs.

Individuals and couples were honored for their service to Buena Vista University and to their communities at a special luncheon and at halftime of the Homecoming game on Oct. 6.

Performances will take place Oct. 11-13, featuring radio plays from the Golden Age of radio. From The Shadow to Baby Snooks, and from soap opera to the Marx Brothers, audiences can experience three unique nights of radio programs.

Alan Maldonado and Holly Schneider were crowned king and queen at the coronation ceremony. The event came after a four days of Homecoming festivities on campus, including Triviathon, midnight movies, a game show, and more.

Aaron Sanders balanced responsibility for his three young children with online classes from BVU. A year after tragedy struck his family, he saw his hard work rewarded with a bachelor's degree.
