Amanda Ragan, who attended Buena Vista University in Mason City, has traveled an unconventional path to arrive at her place in the Iowa Senate. She balanced work and family commitments while earning a bachelor’s degree in human services.

From the Super Bowl to PBS to independent league baseball, Andrew Bandstra's experiences have landed him a job with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He is the broadcast and media relations coordinator with the independent league baseball franchise.

The Buena Vista University Concert Choir was named a semifinalist in the prestigious American Prize national nonprofit competition in the performing arts. It is the only choir in Iowa to be selected.

Emily's experience throughout much of December and all of January involved observing sports medicine, as well as treatment of pediatric and elderly patients.
