Buena Vista University is opening its doors to Argosy University students looking to complete bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Undergraduate tuition at BVU is normally priced more than $100 less per credit hour than Agrosy’s rate.

Storm Lake Middle School students took part in activities on campus. More than 50 BVU students guided them through dodgeball, an obstacle course, dance yoga, and other fun activities.

The two entities have announced a marketing partnership involving BVU’s purchase of naming rights to the Country Club. It will be renamed Buena Vista University Golf Course at Lake Creek Country Club.

The documentary, written and produced by BVU digital media students, shows how a 520-acre “card” for Mickey Mouse’s birthday generated international news and acclaim for the Walt Disney Company and hundreds of northern Iowa residents.

The recipient of the award, which was endowed by the late Paul and Vivian McCorkle, will receive a sabbatical and a $30,000 stipend for faculty development.
