Lindsey Nielsen

Lindsey attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating, she took an internship in an admissions office. This led Lindsey on a career path working at various colleges over the years. “I realized higher education is where I’m meant to be. I love working on a college campus and helping students,” says Lindsey. 

After working with high school students and helping them through the college admission process, Lindsey now works as a Student Success Specialist of Graduate Programs at BVU helping to recruit and advise graduate students looking to get their Master’s in Education or a graduate endorsement. “Working in college admissions has always been rewarding to me and working with graduate students from the beginning of their program until graduation is especially rewarding. It’s an amazing accomplishment for students to either continue their education after earning their bachelor’s degree or go back to school after not being a student for some time. It’s exciting to help them achieve that goal," says Lindsey.

Lindsey is originally from Ackley, Iowa. She now lives in Newell with her husband and stepdaughter. She spends a lot of free time with her friends and family, golfing, playing board and card games, watching live music, or just spending time at home.
