Lynne Bovenmyer

• Assistant Director of Online Programs

Lynne Bovenmyer serves as an Assistant Director of Online Programs for Buena Vista University’s Online Programs. She has worked for BVU since 2000. Her favorite part of her job is helping students fulfill their dreams of a better life and helping them create more opportunities through obtaining a degree.
 
Bovenmyer’s degree is in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa. While she didn’t teach in an elementary classroom full-time, she has been advising students how to be successful at BVU for years. She enjoys seeing graduates from the Marshalltown area around town.
 
When she is not working, Bovenmyer and her family like to camp in the mountains in the summer and travel to beaches in the winter. Bovenmyer enjoys her breaks, but looks forward to helping students succeed in earning their degrees. She states, “You may have your home taken away from you, you may have your pet taken away from you, you may have your significant other taken away from you, but you can never have your education taken away from you because you have earned it!”
