Julietta Coronel is a Senior Enrollment Counselor for Buena Vista University’s Online Programs. She started working at BVU in 2023. 

Julietta’s passion is empowering students to embrace their full potential and helping them confidently take their first steps toward their dreams in higher education. “Together, we can unlock a world of possibilities that will shape their future,” says Coronel.

Julietta graduated from Indian Hills Community College and is a student at BVU. Her experiences as a non-traditional, first-generation student, balancing work, school, and overcoming barriers, have equipped her with a deep understanding and empathy for the students that she works with. 

Before coming to BVU, Julietta was a Diversity Advocate for the Migrant Education Program. In her role, she established meaningful connections with students and families, providing comprehensive support within an inclusive environment. 

When Julietta is not working, she enjoys motorcycle rides, art, nature, her bulldogs, and traveling to visit her family.
