Dr. Samuel Wilson joined the BVU faculty in 2023. Previously, Dr. Wilson worked five years as an international business specialist for the Walt Disney Company in Shanghai and Hong Kong. He was a member of the Sales & Marketing team at Hong Kong Disneyland, working on promotional campaigns for Marvel, Pixar, LucasFilm, and Disney in the Greater China and Southeast Asia markets. He was a global representative for the Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland, the first Marvel attraction at any Disney Park. As part of Disney Institute – the management consulting arm of the Walt Disney Company – Dr. Wilson oversaw global business operations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Upon returning to the USA after nearly a decade abroad, Dr. Wilson published his first book – The Real Rules of Business Success in China – which debuted as the #1 new release in international business on Amazon. He has presented original research at the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business, and published studies in the International Journal of Management Education, the FrenchJournal of Industrial Management, and the Asian Political Science Review.
Dr. Wilson enjoys working with BVU students to tackle real-world business problems and develop the entrepreneurial startups of the future.
