Dr. Katie Alls

• Instructor for Professional School Counseling

Dr. Katie Alls is thrilled to join BVU as an adjunct professor. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Columbia College, a Master’s in School Counseling, and a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, both from Capella University.

With over a decade of experience in public education, she had the privilege of working with students from kindergarten through secondary. Dr. Alls currently serves as a professional school counselor for sixth grade at a middle school, where she is passionate about helping students discover their full potential and achieve their goals through creative strategies and evidence-based practices.

Dr. Alls' professional interests center on advocacy, equity, and social justice, and she is deeply committed to empowering students and future counselors to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
