Dr. Justin Cook
- Clinical Director of Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Dr. Justin Cook is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Counselor Educator with a strong commitment to advancing the counseling profession through education, mentorship, and innovative clinical practice. He currently serves as the Clinical Director and Assistant Professor for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program at Buena Vista University.
Dr. Cook holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University. He brings extensive experience from faculty and leadership roles at Lindenwood and Missouri Baptist Universities, and he operates a private practice in Lake Saint Louis specializing in individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as adventure therapy and eco-wellness.
Driven by a passion for service and a belief in lifelong learning, Dr. Cook encourages his students to remain curious, open, and growth-oriented as they prepare to become compassionate and competent mental health professionals
