Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Southern Oregon University
 
Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance with Music Technology Sub-Concentration  and Mathematics Minor from the University of Nebraska - Omaha.
 

Omaha native Jeffrey Kolega holds music performance degrees from Southern Oregon University and the University of Nebraska - Omaha, where his primary instructors were Tomm Roland and Terry Longshore. Some highlights of his academic and professional career have included performances at the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MassMoCA, the Omaha Under the Radar festival and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, being member of the Rogue Valley Symphony Orchestra, and receiving a grant from New Music USA as a member of the noise improv quartet Screaming Plastic.

Jeffrey has had the opportunity to collaborate with many influential composers and musicians such as Mark Applebaum, Elliot Cole, David Cossin, Stuart Gerber, Steve Reich and Christian Wolff. He is currently active as a freelance musician in Omaha with projects ranging from musical theater to indie rock.
