Dr. Chad Lang

Dr. Chad Lang serves as the Assistant Superintendent of School Improvement and H.R. at Glenwood Community School District in Iowa, bringing over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, administrator, and district leader. His expertise in curriculum development, grading reform, and Professional Learning Communities (PLC) has been instrumental in Glenwood CSD's recognition as a National Model PLC at Work District and the achievement of a National Blue Ribbon Award for West Elementary.
A respected voice in educational leadership, Dr. Lang was named the Missouri Athletic Administrator of the Year in 2018 and Iowa Central Office Administrator of the Year in 2023. He co-authored "A Parents’ Guide to Grading and Reporting: Being Clear About What Matters" and has been published in prominent journals, including Phi Delta Kappan, the Journal for School Administration Research and Development, and ASCD’s Educational Leadership.
Dr. Lang holds an Ed.D. in Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also serves as an adjunct professor in the education programs at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Buena Vista University, and the University of Northern Iowa, where his practical insights provide aspiring educators with valuable, real-world knowledge.
