Beth Blankers

Beth Blankers began her accounting career with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio. While at P&G, she provided accounting instruction and SAP support to plant accountants across the United States and Canada. After attending law school, Beth worked as an attorney at Ladegaard, Maahs & Owens, a general practice law firm in Spirit Lake, Iowa. There, she focused primarily on tax, estate planning and business law.

Beth has been a faculty member at Buena Vista University for 15 years. She enjoys teaching both introductory and upper-level accounting courses. In 2016, Beth received The George Wythe Award, BVU's highest honor for excellence in teaching. She used the sabbatical and proceeds from that award to study Spanish in Peru, Costa Rica, and Ecuador during spring semester 2019. In 2020, Beth received the Faculty of the Year Award from the BVU Student Senate.

Beth is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and a licensed attorney in the State of Iowa.
