Instructor Angela Berg

Prof. Angela Berg has over two decades of business, finance, sales, and marketing experience. She worked in sales for Dentsply Sirona, the largest dental device company, for twenty-four years.  In this technique-focused sales role, she taught doctors, distributor representatives, and dental faculty the required state-of-the-art techniques for the proper use of her entire product line of equipment and consumables products.  Her territory was Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, and she created a pull-through marketing strategy, which included continuing education events. She was a consistent top performer nationally, and won numerous awards and earned advancement in her organization.  

For the past two years, she taught business courses at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School in northwest Iowa.  In May, she was the recipient of the prestigious “2025 Teacher of the Year” award by N’West Iowa REVIEW.  She also received the “Favorite Teacher” award from the 2025 HMS valedictorian from the Iowa Governor Scholarship Program. She was extremely humbled and honored for these awards, as there are many talented educators in this region.  

Prof. Berg is a big believer in collaborative learning. She strives to help each student find their hidden strengths and passions while learning the creative art of teamwork. She is a DISC Leadership Certified Trainer and has consulted with many school districts, administrators, teachers, students, and business executives.
