Celebrating Our Graduates
Buena Vista University's commencement ceremonies will be held on a future date. These ceremonies are a wonderful time to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.
October Commencement Postponed
This year has been full of unexpected changes that have required BVU to make many tough decisions in order to keep students, faculty, staff, alumni, and our community healthy and safe. In light of these changes, the University has postponed our in-person Commencement ceremony previously scheduled for Oct. 11, 2020, due to our inability to host large gatherings.
This winter, BVU will reassess options for an in-person Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020. Graduates will be notified of new plans, which will also be posted here.

Congratulations, graduates! Our faculty, staff, and students are pleased to bring you a virtual celebration of the 129th graduating class of Buena Vista University.
The virtual Commencement celebration includes many of the same components as our traditional ceremony, with messages from the Interim President, student speaker—and most importantly, the recognition of individual graduates. Graduates who opted to be recognized are featured in the video.
