Receive up to 30 percent off tuition in our online undergraduate programs and our organizational leadership graduate program and from $250—up to $2,000 annually—off our Storm Lake campus undergraduate programs.

Casey's General Stores
1. Apply to Buena Vista University and fill out our BVU partner/employer section on the application.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required for undergraduate students, and preferred, but not required for graduate students.
3. If you are a new student, BVU will verify your employment with Casey’s. If you are a current BVU student, please contact your advisor to inform them of your employment. BVU will verify your employment with Casey’s to process your eligibility for partner grant funding.
Fareway
1. Apply to Buena Vista University and fill out our BVU partner/employer section on the application.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required for undergraduate students, and preferred, but not required for graduate students.
3. If you are a current BVU student, please contact your human resources department to inform them of your student status.
UnityPoint Health
1. Apply to Buena Vista University and fill out our BVU partner/employer section on the application.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required for undergraduate students, and preferred, but not required for graduate students.
3. If you are a new applicant or a current BVU student, request your human resources department to submit your official verification of employment. UPH employees can contact AskHR by submitting a case within Lawson - Subject: BVU Partnership Employment Verification. AskHR will then send employment verification on behalf of the employee.
All Other Partners
1. Apply to Buena Vista University and select “your employer name” as your partner employer on the application.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required for undergraduate students, and preferred, but not required for graduate students.
3. Request your human resources department submit your employment verification electronically to strategicpartnerships@bvu.edu confirming employment.
4. Once employee verification is received, the Director of Strategic Partnerships will process the student's eligibility for partner grant funding with our Financial Aid office. Students will be notified when their award is ready to view.
5. Current BVU students are also eligible for grant funding. Current students will skip steps 1 & 2 and begin request for employment verification. Current students seeking Strategic Partnerships grant funding are eligible to receive benefits at the beginning of each new semester.
