BVU Student Wins IIAC High Jump Title
Brooke Runneberg, who is a junior psychology major from Laurens, cleared 1.59 meters on her first attempt to win a three-way tiebreaker.
On Feb. 24, Buena Vista University student-athlete Brooke Runneberg saved her best jump of the year for her last as she cleared 1.59 meters on her first attempt to win a three-way tiebreaker and claim the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) Indoor Track and Field high jump title. The 2018 Iowa IIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships took place Feb. 23-24 at Central College in Pella.
Prior to the championships, Runneberg, a junior psychology major from Laurens, had a personal best of 1.55 meters, which was set in the first meet of the season.
