BVU, Ranco Fertiservice Build Bonds via Strategic Partnership

Ranco Fertiservice employees, as well as their spouses and dependents, may receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU.

Buena Vista University (BVU) and Ranco Fertiservice, Inc., of Sioux Rapids, entered a Strategic Partnership to benefit both organizations as they strive to best serve the people and the areas in which they operate.

Under the agreement, Ranco Fertiservice employees, as well as their spouses and dependents, may receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake campus. Partner grant funding also lowers the cost per credit hour for students enrolled in BVU’s convenient online/hybrid undergraduate programs or the organizational leadership graduate program.

BVU professors and staff are also available for training programs, workshops, and more should officials with Ranco Fertiservice seek those services and expertise.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to extend educational benefits to the employees and families of Ranco Fertiservice, a company whose commitment to community mirrors the BVU motto, ‘Education for Service.’”

Katie Smith, BVU Director of Strategic Partnerships.

It makes perfect sense.”

Ranco Fertiservice, which was founded in Sioux Rapids in 1961, employs 85.
