Buena Vista University Theatre to Present Original Play

Buena Vista University Theatre is presenting the original play "[fuzed & fraid]" Feb. 11-14 in Anderson Auditorium on the BVU campus. It is an original play that was conceived, developed, and written by BVU students, based upon their own personal experiences.

Buena Vista University Theatre is presenting the original play “[’fuzed & ’fraid]” Feb. 11-14 at 7:30 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium on the BVU campus.

Tickets for the play can be reserved online at www.bvu.edu/tickets or by calling the BVU Theatre Hotline at 712.749.2211. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens and may be picked up at the door on the evening of the performance you plan to attend.

“[’fuzed & ’fraid]” is an original play that was conceived, developed, and written by BVU students, based upon their own personal experiences. It is a thought-provoking play that brings attention to many of today’s issues, including image, bullying and censorship. Because of the content of the play, this production may offend or trigger unpleasant memories in some audience members.

The cast of “[’fuzed & ’fraid]” is made up of BVU students, including:

  • Spencer Bottorff, a sophomore digital media major from Dakota City, Nebraska
  • Nicole Boysen, a senior English major from Danbury
  • Jacob Braddock, a sophomore biology major from Swea City
  • Jazmin Chaidez, a sophomore criminology and criminal justice major from Storm Lake
  • Bailey Dean, a senior vocal music performance and theatre major from Ankeny
  • Jarrett Drummer, a biochemistry and communications studies major from Conrad
  • Jairdin Engen, a junior digital media major from Cedar Rapids
  • Katalina Ford, a junior digital media major from Piqua, Ohio
  • Susan Haack, a junior digital media major from Le Mars
  • Miranda Hoffman, a junior vocal music K-12 education major from Missouri Valley
  • Dana Korell, a senior social work major from Saint Joseph, Michigan
  • Yoseline Padilla, a sophomore criminology and criminal justice major from Aurelia
  • Marla Rodriguez, a senior accounting and business major from Storm Lake
  • Erik Wolf, a junior theatre major from Central City
  • Tanner Wood, a sophomore business with entrepreneurship concentration and math major from Springfield, Missouri
