Buena Vista University celebrated Buenafication Day, a time-honored campus tradition, on April 30. Students, faculty and staff spent the day having fun and performing service.

Buena Vista Universityäó»s digital media department hosted the third annual SHOWOFF Student Media Festival on April 10. The festival allows high school juniors and seniors to submit media projects for award consideration in a variety of categories.

Buena Vista University student journalists, its media publication, The Tack, and its radio station KBVU received recognition in the 2014 Society of Professional Journalist regional Mark of Excellence Awards.
