Puritie Smith

Puritie is a senior at Buena Vista University, graduating in May 2026. She is majoring in accounting, agricultural business, and business management, while also earning her coaching certification. Her academic pursuits reflect a strong interest in leadership, strategy, and service-oriented work.

Highly involved in campus life, Puritie serves as a Resident Assistant and is actively engaged in a wide range of campus and community volunteer efforts. She values creating supportive, welcoming environments and enjoys opportunities that allow her to mentor and connect with others. Her passion for service also extends beyond BVU, as she enjoys volunteering in the community and working with local youth.

Puritie previously served as the BVU Admissions Lead Intern, where she gained hands-on experience in student recruitment, outreach, and support. Through this role, she discovered a passion for helping students navigate the college search process. She is committed to guiding students as they explore their options, discover their strengths, and find the path that best aligns with their personal, academic, and professional goals.
