Ben Clark
- Senior Assistant Director of Admissions
Ben is a native of Rockwell City, Iowa, and a 2013 graduate of Rockwell City-Lytton/South Central Calhoun High School. Following high school, he attended Grinnell College for a year before transferring to Simpson College, where he graduated in 2018 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Secondary Education. During his final two years at Simpson (2016-2018), he was believed to have been the youngest high school varsity boys' basketball coach in the state of Iowa.
Ben began working at BVU in the summer of 2018 as the Recruitment and Retention Liaison in the School of Education. He joined the BVU Men's Basketball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2018 and continues to serve in that role. He was also the recruiting coordinator for the BVU Women's Soccer program during the 2023-24 school year.
Now, as a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions, Ben is the admissions counselor for all recruited student-athletes. In addition to Ben's experience as a student at institutions similar to BVU, his years of experience in academics, student support, and recruiting give him a unique perspective on the college search process as he helps prospective students through their journeys.
