Students participated in a number of aquatic activities as part of the course, including log rolling, synchronized swimming, and more.

The award will purchase infant, child, and adult CPR training manikins and AED devices to be used in a free training and certification session held Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in Forum Room 2 on BVU's campus.

Buena Vista University Theatre's production of "Woman Wonder" has been selected to be performed at the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival 50 in Des Moines. BVU is the only university in Iowa to be invited to compete at the coveted competition.

Israel marked the students' final stop, where the group stayed in old Jerusalem and visited Yad Vashem, the Dead Sea, Masada, and the Roman ruins at Caesarea.

The BVU Board of Trustees has officially approved a $15.1 million renovation of the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business/Siebens Forum. Construction is scheduled to start in May 2018, with a tentative completion date of December 2018.

BVU student Taylor Loy put into action the development of two small, watertight structures used to house food items that are available for anyone in the community.

The evening offered a festive environment for the students and those serving the meal, with laughter and a variety of conversations taking place during the meal of roast turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing and green beans.

The purpose of the event is to connect Storm Lake employers with the University and to allow BVU students to network with local professionals.

After serving Buena Vista University for nearly 23 years, the last 18 as vice president for institutional advancement, Ken Converse will retire at the end of December.
