BVU students had the opportunity to experience the rich culture, art, and history of several major European cities.

For nearly 20 years, BVU faculty from across the state have come together for the annual Adjunct Faculty Conference in Storm Lake to enhance teaching and education at the University, led by none other than BVU's very own experts.

One of BVU's many co-curricular clubs and organizations, ALPS gives students a boost in confidence and skill as they meet weekly to plan year-round adventures.

Students participated in a number of aquatic activities as part of the course, including log rolling, synchronized swimming, and more.

The award will purchase infant, child, and adult CPR training manikins and AED devices to be used in a free training and certification session held Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in Forum Room 2 on BVU's campus.

Throughout the three-week trip, the group of students studied the Spanish language at a local language school in the mornings, and took in the country's historical sites during the afternoons and on weekends.

Throughout the three-week course, students examined the dimensions by which cultures vary, including concepts of social structure, organization, institution, and socialization.

Buena Vista University Theatre's production of "Woman Wonder" has been selected to be performed at the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival 50 in Des Moines. BVU is the only university in Iowa to be invited to compete at the coveted competition.

Israel marked the students' final stop, where the group stayed in old Jerusalem and visited Yad Vashem, the Dead Sea, Masada, and the Roman ruins at Caesarea.

The BVU Board of Trustees has officially approved a $15.1 million renovation of the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business/Siebens Forum. Construction is scheduled to start in May 2018, with a tentative completion date of December 2018.

BVU alumni from across the state attended the event and shared positive feedback about the station and its future direction.

In addition to touring the CVM's state-of-the-art facilities, BVU students had the opportunity to discuss veterinary research opportunities with ISU students, administrators, and faculty.

In return, the scholarship recipients will serve as Iowa College AmeriCorps volunteers in Buena Vista County communities to build on valuable personal, leadership, and professional skills.

BVU student Taylor Loy put into action the development of two small, watertight structures used to house food items that are available for anyone in the community.
