BVU's student-operated television station, University Cable Network, and the BVU Concert Band celebrated the 65th anniversary of the first simulcast by electronic media of an NBC Symphony Orchestra concert with a special event on March 17.

The BVU men's basketball team captured a share of the Iowa Conference regular season title by topping Coe College inside Siebens Fieldhouse, 72-63. The victory is the 11th conference championship for the Beavers.
