At BVU's All-Campus Christmas Dinner, faculty and staff serve students a traditional holiday meal. This year, we once again attached a camera to the tray of Dr. Peter Steinfeld to get his perspective on this campus tradition.

Carols, delicious food, and Beaver friendship surrounded the 30th Annual All-Campus Christmas Dinner on Dec. 1. The holiday feast was enjoyed by BVU students and delivered with white-glove service by members of the University faculty, staff, and administration.

More than 100 local high school students filled BVU's art studios and other classrooms on Nov. 22 and 23 for the annual iDoArt event, held by the BVU art and design department.

In August, a group of five Buena Vista University professors embarked on a journey to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan as part of the McCorkle Fellowship program, interweaving their disciplines and personal interests and bonding as colleagues and friends.

Buena Vista University has announced that Dr. Amy Barth, asst. professor of education, literacy education, is a recipient of the highly competitive K08 Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development Award from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

The Buena Vista football team put up 476 yards of total offense and used a big 27-point second quarter to help lift it to a key 48-24 victory over visiting Luther College on Saturday for Homecoming inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium.

Six Buena Vista University students participated in an on-campus question and answer program with Former U.S. Secretary of Defense and Director of the CIA Leon E. Panetta during his appearance as the 22nd William W. Siebens American Heritage Lecture laureate.

Buena Vista University has announced 15 new full-time faculty members for the 2016-17 academic year. Thirteen of the new faculty are to support a larger student population within the University's School of Education.

The Buena Vista University music department will present their Homecoming Concert on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. in Schaller Memorial Chapel, celebrating the 125th year of BVU.
